Samba Meets Jazz - Ensemble Arts with the Masters!

Open to all instruments and vocalists, this week provides players of all musical backgrounds and abilities , an opportunity to not only reach that next level, but to expand your creativity, and musical horizons.

For some, it will be a first exploration into Brazilian styles beyond Bossa Nova and Samba.  For classical musicians wishing to branch out,   it will be an ideal opportunity to focus on Jazz & Brazilian phrasing,  and to develop improvisational and ensemble skills in these genres.    In this nurturing environment, hobbyists will get the attention they need to reach their next level.   And if you’re an experienced high school student, a weeklong exposure and interaction with our world-class faculty will open new vistas and foundation skills to last a lifetime.

With hands-on classes from morning to evening, faculty-led jams at night, and an enrollment capped at 30, students will get the attention they need to develop more than  ”skills.”

Estamos muito animado para iniciar este programa em resposta ao interesse dos alunos! A semana foi projetado para oferecer uma oportunidade para guitarristas, baixistas e vocalistas de mergulhar nos estudos originais de seu próprio instrumento, e, em seguida, aplicar estes no contexto do jogo pequeno grupo conjunto. Faculdade incluirá: Roni Ben-Hur, Nilson Matta e Amy em Londres.
